(BOULDER, Colo., December 22, 2014) – Last month, 8z Real Estate founder and CEO, Lane Hornung spoke on a panel at the annual REALTORS Conference & Expo. This event is hosted by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Hornung was one of four panelists from across the country, representing successful brokerages that are invested in internet lead generation.
The internet is an indispensable resource for home buyers, with NAR research data indicating that, “Forty-two percent of buyers first looked online for properties for sale as their first step—a jump from 35 percent in 2011.”
While home buyers are using the internet more than ever to search for a home, many real estate brokers struggle to find the right strategy to convert that website visitor into a lead, and eventually a client. The November 9th panel discussed the level of investment, time resources and realistic expectations of conversion rates for internet leads.
